My husband Wes and I have been riding at Fourche Creek for several years and wouldn't go anywhere else. We have made life long friends and family at Fourche and couldn't ask for more. Due to eratic work schedules and the birth of our son we have not been able to ride as much. However returning to the familiar faces is like you never left. The atomsphere is warm and you won't find a better domino game west of the Mississippi. Hope to see you soon "papaw".

Just finished a week of riding. The campground was immaculate and the food was wonderful. It was one of the best camping experiences I've had. We were treated like family (royalty). Thanks guys for a wonderful week.

My wife and I just got back from Fourche Creek. We stayed there for a week with 5 horses. Wayne and the staff get an A+ rating from me!. Great family atmosphere. Clean facilities at a more than fair price. Good trails too. Our horses got in about 300 miles of training in 5 days of riding. You can definitely cover some ground at this place. We will go back, but beware, we gained weight. Keith Shawnee Sunrise Farm

The crew from Ste. Genevieve, MO had a great time visiting Fourche Creek. Thanks for the guided tours and to Bob, Karen, Angie & Wayne for making us feel welcome. And a big thanks to Doug for bringing the trailer to pick up horses and a few riders who had enough for one day!

You have some of the nicest facilities we've camped out. Great trails too.

We'll be back.

Thanks again, Kim (:

I haven't checked out your website in quite some time and didn't know you had this comments page. Just wanted to let you know how much we've enjoyed our two trips there. Anyone that's looking for a good trail ride, look no more. This place has miles and miles of trails and are a pleasure to ride. Can't say enough about the food, too! It is GREAT! These folks make you feel right at home, and you'll want to go back after trying them out. Hope for a few of us Tennesseans to see you for the Blue Grass Festival in just a few days. Order us up some great weather between now and then!!!

Hi Folks, I, like many others out there, am looking for new riding areas that you can bring your own horse. This place sounds like my cup of tea. The site is nice but I like to plan early so more information is necessary. I hope when you update your info. you will add prices, dates, health reg. for horses, and accommodations. We really like "down home" and this sounds like that kind of place.

I found your site while searching for info for our site Heartland Horseman. I have seen your ads in the DAR in the past. So far we have not made it their to ride with you but perhaps we will in the near future. I have ridden in that area in the past and have many friends that ride their regularly because of the scenery. Keep up the good work and maybe we will see you in the spring.

Thanks for a great time!!! If you are looking for the perfect place this will come very close. The scenery was beautiful and the rides were well organized. The camping spots, bath houses, rodeo and the friendly people and especially the cooking make this a great place to visit. Thanks to grandma and staff for all the homemade meals.

I have not been able to make your trail rides yet but expect to soon as I am only 2-3 hours away. Is there a problem with singe riders calling to make week end rides or 3 day rides? I have several friends in the Doniphan area and have had many positive comments about your rides. Thank you.

I have been looking for places to ride in Mo. we ride at Bay Creek, Ill. every year and would like to expand our vacation on to Mo. in 2003. I would like to know how many miles of trails you have and do you provide maps? Is the 500 acres, the total trail area, or does it join another trail system? If so what one? Also I did not see any fee's, ride dates, elec. dump, or stalls rates? Would you post them on your web? Looking forward to seeing some trail pictures and campsite shots. Sounds like a great place according to your Guestbook. Need more info. Thanks!

Some people that I know stayed for a week and they couldn't stop talking about how wonderful it was. We would love to come, too. We have not done any trail riding outside of MN yet (have to upgrade the truck/trailer before a long haul). I have a brochure and will keep it handy for when the time comes! Keep up the good work!

We do not care for group riding we mostly ride just the two of us. We do ride with a 8 year old female German Shepard that that has never and will not fight and very well mannered does the dog need to be on a leash, we understand leash laws in camps but do not use leash on trails. Do you offer cabin's we do not have living quarter's. I assume there are map's of all trail's and approx. times each trail takes. Thank you JD

Hi, This is Alex Frazier. The founders of Fourche Creek are my uncles and I know that this is a really nice place to visit. If you would rather stay inside than ride horses you can almost always get in on a game of dominoes or cards. My Grandma is one of the best cooks that I know of, so there is some pretty good food around all the time.

I can't believe you let Wayne guide these trail rides. After the stories I have hear of his Colorado hunting trips I am surprised you can carry insurance on that man.

We have been to Fourche Creek Trail Rides three years running. A cleaner, neater place would be hard to find. The people are the friendliest and best. We also enjoyed the home cooked meals. If you want a good time and down home hospitality Fourche Creek is the ride for you.

This is a good place to bring your family. My father-in-law was one of the founder's. My kids love to go there. I personally do not like horses, but I love the scenery and peacefulness that Fourche Creek has to offer. In the evenings you can often find a game of Domino's or Aggravation going on for all to join. Hope to see you there!!!!
